tesa tape has launched a new line of products designed specifically for the tag and label printing industry. The manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes adds the tesa Softprint Secure Plate Mounting Tape Family to its product portfolio. The products are intended for the package printing industry.

The company now offers ten flexographic printing tapes designed for mounting printing plates onto cylinders and sleeves for narrow web printing operations. The new tesa Softprint Secure 15 mil product family is comprised of three distinctive products, all of which are equipped with the same closed-cell foam and filmic reinforcement technology that promotes high-quality results throughout the entire print run.

The Softprint Secure Family’s adhesive system has been developed to easily and securely mount flexographic printing plates onto print cylinders or sleeves, while at the same time allowing for easy repositioning to ensure optimized placement of the printing plate, as well as easy demounting of the plate upon job completion.

The new adhesive system is named “SNAP-ON” and is available on the three new tesa Softprint Secure 15 mil products: tesa 52815 Softprint Secure – hard foam plate mounting tape; tesa 52817 Softprint Secure – medium-soft foam plate mounting tape; tesa 52818 Softprint Secure – soft foam plate mounting tape.
